Weekly payroll

Weekly timesheet

One worker, one week. Start, end and break for each day, with hours, overtime and gross pay worked out for you.

Pay every two weeks

Bi-weekly timesheet

Two weeks side by side, with overtime counted per week so a long first week doesn't hide in the total.

Monthly pay runs

Monthly timesheet

A row for every day of the month for salaried staff, part-timers, or anyone paid once a month.

Foremen on site

Daily crew timesheet

One job site, one day, the whole crew. The foreman fills it in on site and each worker initials their line.

Job costing

Job & cost code timesheet

Hours by job and cost code across the week, so labor lands on the right project when you bill or bid.

Skip the paperwork entirely.

Supercrew clocks your crew in when they arrive on site and builds the timesheet for you. Approve it and send it to payroll.

What every timesheet needs

Every template above covers these five things. If you build your own, don't leave any of them out.

  1. 01

    Who and when

Employee name, pay period or week ending, and the supervisor who approves it.

  2. 02

    Where

The job site or project for every shift, so labor can be costed and billed.

  3. 03

    Start, end and breaks

Actual clock in and out times. Unpaid breaks are taken out of the daily total.

  4. 04

    Overtime

Hours past your overtime threshold, split out so they're paid at the right rate.

  5. 05

    Sign-off

The worker and a supervisor both sign before it goes to payroll.

Templates work. Until they don't.

A template is a good start. Here's what changes when the timesheet fills itself in.

Timesheet questions

Are these timesheet templates really free?+

Yes. Download as many as you like, edit them, and share them with your crew. There's no sign-up and no email required.

Can I use them in Google Sheets?+

Yes. Open Google Sheets, choose File, then Import, and upload the Excel file. The hour and pay formulas carry over.

How are hours and overtime calculated?+

Enter start and end times like 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM, and unpaid breaks in minutes. Each day's hours are worked out for you, including shifts that run past midnight. Overtime is counted per week after the threshold you set, 40 hours by default. Check your state or provincial rules, since some require daily overtime too.

Which template should I use?+

Match it to how often you run payroll: weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Use the daily crew sheet when a foreman tracks a whole crew on one site, and the job and cost code sheet when you need labor broken out by project.

When is it time to move off paper timesheets?+

Usually once you're chasing sheets every payday, fixing guessed hours, or retyping everything into payroll. Supercrew clocks crews in automatically when they arrive on site and sends approved hours straight to QuickBooks, Xero or Sage.

Never chase a timesheet again.

Hours track themselves. Set up your first job site in five minutes.
